What happened to Black Shield which Black Panther gave to Captain America in Infinity War?

I think you have mis-pronounced them successfully. They are Wakandan-shield or simply you can call them Vibranium shield.

According to the question , I guess, Captain would have handed the shield’s down to Okoye, survived wakandan general, after the great decimation. Now there could be some reasons which we can assume in the following case.

If you have watched Civil war ,you might remember that Captain left his previous shield to Tony. Steve let the shield forego when Tony raised an allegation on his eligibility to wield the shield.


The above Wakandan shields were provided by King T’Challa to Steve Rogers for attacking and defensive purpose against outriders. Captain would have been prove vulnerable to attacks if he appeared in the battlefield without any weapon. Outriders are the gruesome creatures who had a impenetrable skin to normal attacks and thus, Captain fighting with them bare handed could be a huge nonsense.


I know, T’Challa was unaware of what is coming but for a help in assault rather than fighting with fists and kicks, he provided the awesome tech to Steve Rogers. But the shield were provided to Steve only for the purpose of war. Once the purpose for war completed even after getting beaten by Thanos brutally, wakandan shields served no purpose to Steve and Thus, Steve would have decided to return them back.

Even if T’Challa or survived wakandans allowed Steve to kept shield to himself, he wouldn’t have done it as T’Challa had done a lot for him in recent years which a responsible person like Steve, won’t forget until it is paid -

T’Challa provided a comfortable place to Bucky to stay incognito from the outer world.

he helped Bucky to remove the old HYDRA’s program inside him.

Helped Steve escape out of Europe after the triple threat fight in Siberia.

Allowed Steve and company to visit Wakanda anytime.

provided wakandan shield to fight against enemies.

Steve, being a indebted person to T’Challa, would have returned the shield to Okoye to pay the beholden debt. Although Steve successfully paid all the debt when he helped vanished Avengers to resurrect in Endgame.

 Absolutely. This question was asked many times after Endgame to the Russo brothers. I saw it everywhere on Instagram and Whatsapp. I have seen dozen of memes on it too. We just got to see a small condolence meet of the Avengers at headquarters river shore. As they were Natasha’s only family. Natasha was just a spy throughout a decade. She was not any celebrity and icon like Stark or respected soldier like Steve Rogers. No relations or connections everywhere. Her friends were limited and so was identity.  After the Endgame how can you justify each dream sequence shown in age of Ultron? As we saw in Avengers Age of ultron, Scarlet witch mind games with The avengers except Hawkeye. 1.The sequences starts with Tony’s vision. Tony was informing Avengers about Loki’s scepter when wanda cast mind spell on him. After that Tony sees The dead Leviathan coming back to life, crushing the barriers flys into sky. Tony sees all 5 avengers on the floor, half dead and injured. Nat is dead, Thor’s is unconsious, Cap is injured and Shield is broken. Steve asks Tony, “ You could have done more.
