Could an angry Korg defeat any of the Avengers?

The simple answer is yes.

Here’s Korg on the left. He’s a Kronan like the guy on the right:

Unfortunately the guy on the right made the mistake of pissing off Thor:

Now lets look at Korgs stats:

He’s 8′ 1″/2.46m tall and weighs 2045 lbs/927.6 Kg. He’s a big dude!!

Depending on what version he is either made totally of Rock or just has a dense rocky hide similar to the Thing. Either way he is hard to damage. They way they hype him in the Hulk comics makes you wonder why they needed the Hulk.

He is a trained gladiator and was a soldier and military strategist in the Kronan army.

He hangs around with the Hulk and has a base strength of about 100 tonnes.

So Hawkeye, Black Widow, Captain America would have major problems dealing with him.

He has a high resistance to heat also so even Iron Man and War Machine couldn’t just one shot him. They would have to wear him down and use their ability to fly to remain out of reach.

The Scarlet Witch based on her feats could take him as long as he didn’t get a shot in first. Wanda is a glass cannon. One hit from Korg and game over.

The Vision in Age of Ultron would be able to take him due to the flexibility and number of different skills and powers he demonstrated, especially flight. The version of the Vision in Infinity War was really nerfed so I believe he might struggle at that power level.

Falcon could avoid him but I do not think he could really hurt him. Again his main advantage is his flight. Now he has Caps shield he might get a lucky shot in a vulnerable part but no offense he’s no super soldier. To be honest Caps shield is not really a weapon I see playing to Falcons strengths.

Ant man, not an Avenger IMHO, could get Korg to swat himself to death but even when he goes giant Korg has super strength. This was always an issue that the original Giant Man/Hank Pym, in the comics had. No matter how big he got he never really had the super strength to compete with guys like Thor. He was always looking to improve his formula.

I don’t count Dr Strange as an Avenger as I associate him as a team member of the Defenders from the comics. He would take Korg though with the right spells such as the Crimson Bands of Cytorrak to trap him.

Spiderman again in my mind is more a solo act, not an Avenger, and he can’t compete with 100 tonners. He could slow him down, maybe web him up temporarily but he would struggle to hurt or hold Korg. Similarly Korg would not be able to touch him. I’d call it a draw.

I’m getting a lot of Spiderman fanboys messaging me saying Spiderman could lift 100 tonnes. So instead of saying you’re wrong I looked up the strength scale in the Marvel database to check.

I’ve grown up with Spiderman and that means about 50 years of actually following him, I know where he generally should fit in the overall Marvel strength scale.

Now in the MCU he has some impressive feats, like stopping a train but the MCU is not consistent in strength feats for not just Spiderman but other heroes compared to the big guns like Thor and the Hulk, who set the bench-mark (pun intended) for strength in the Marvel universe. What I’m saying is that the MCU doesn’t scale properly or consistently. The directors just go for the big scenes and forget the physics.

Lets look at Captain America, in the comics who is supposed to be at the bottom level of superhuman strength which is about 800lbs plus lifting strength, way, way below Thor and Hulk. His strongest version being about 3 tonnes. Yet here he stops the AS350 helicopter lifting off which is estimated as a bicep curl of about 3000lbs.

Then we have him actually holding Thanos for a bit. Thanos is a guy that rag dolled the Hulk and used him as a fly swatter and he now has the power stone, seriously?

So let me draw a line under this. You are totally entitled to your opinion. Possibly Spiderman would take Korg down. We are in hypothetical territory and given the right circumstances I’m sure all things are possible.

Same with Black Panther, not an Avenger, his ability to hurt Korg would be based on what technology could be brought to bear. Physically he is similar to Spiderman just not as strong.

Captain Marvel, again not an Avenger IMHO, she could take him. Her speed blitz would be her strongest attack.

If I’ve overlooked anyone I apologise, oh right, win for the big green guy what’s his name…

 Absolutely. This question was asked many times after Endgame to the Russo brothers. I saw it everywhere on Instagram and Whatsapp. I have seen dozen of memes on it too. We just got to see a small condolence meet of the Avengers at headquarters river shore. As they were Natasha’s only family. Natasha was just a spy throughout a decade. She was not any celebrity and icon like Stark or respected soldier like Steve Rogers. No relations or connections everywhere. Her friends were limited and so was identity. Another reason they were unable to give her a proper send-off was Death of Tony Stark followed by Nat’s death. You would have known (as a fan), most of the people were eager to bid adieu their beloved characters.  After the Endgame how can you justify each dream sequence shown in age of Ultron? As we saw in Avengers Age of ultron, Scarlet witch mind games with The avengers except Hawkeye. 1.The sequences starts with Tony’s vision. Tony was informing Avengers about Loki’s scepter when wanda cast mind spell on him. After that Tony sees The dead Leviathan coming back to life, crushing the barriers flys into sky. Tony sees all 5 avengers on the floor, half dead and injured. Nat is dead, Thor’s is unconsious, Cap is injured and Shield is broken. Steve asks Tony, “ You could have done more. Why wouldn’t you saved us? ” Tony with a visible tension and fear looks at the sky and sees aliens invading earth.
